The Yi Torch Festival heritage account identifies the twenty-fourth day of the sixth Chinese calendar month in Chuxiong and Liangshan.
A specific heritage reference#
The heritage record describes ritual, performance, sports, social gathering and exchange activities. The calendar reference belongs to the communities covered by that account, not every event using the English name Torch Festival.
Before attending#
Check the actual venue, date and admission announcement for the year concerned. The traditional calendar date does not establish a particular evening’s programme. Follow the organizer’s access and fire-management instructions at the event.
Scope#
The planning questions are editorial suggestions. This introduction does not supply a current booking, visitor invitation or a schedule for every community.
