The Ancient Building Complex in the Wudang Mountains is a World Heritage property in Hubei.
What the heritage record establishes#
UNESCO describes palaces and temples, with the complex organized during the Ming dynasty and earlier Taoist buildings represented in its history. The architectural property and a modern city itinerary are different scopes. A broad historical date does not establish the age of every visible part of every structure.
Planning your visit#
Select the buildings you want to see before choosing an entrance or transfer. Ask how the intended route connects its stops and where you must return. Check rules for religious spaces, photography and any restricted interiors at the venue. Do not infer an included martial-arts lesson, vegetarian meal or cable-car journey from the heritage description.
Before making a booking#
Check current opening arrangements and admission conditions with the named site operator. The planning advice above is editorial guidance, not a report of a completed visit. No current fare, restaurant certification or guaranteed journey time is asserted.
