Haifeng’s Red Palace and Red Square commemorate distinct events in 1927.

Documented place and context#

Guangdong’s government account places the Haifeng congress at the Red Palace on 18–21 November 1927 and a celebration at the Red Square on 1 December that year. These are different occasions, rather than two names for a single meeting. The account describes the former Confucian academy’s change of use.

Planning your visit#

Include 海丰 in the destination name when researching 红宫红场. Compare the date and venue on each exhibit label instead of combining all commemorated events into one story. Confirm visitor arrangements with the institution. An archival account does not guarantee a performance, reenactment or public ceremony on the day of a visit.

Scope#

This focused introduction is not a full city itinerary or a personal visit report. Planning questions are editorial suggestions. Current fares, travel times and operating schedules require confirmation with the named institution or provider.
