Check the passport rules for both your application and your intended entry arrangement. A visa application's document checklist is not a universal rule for every visa-free journey.
Visa application documents#
The Chinese Visa Application Service Center's Paris F-visa checklist asks for a passport with at least six months of remaining validity and two blank visa pages, plus the specified copies. That same checklist has an additional validity condition for a one-year multiple-entry application. Use the checklist of your own centre and category rather than treating these examples as worldwide rules.
Check before travel#
Match your travel document, intended route and entry basis to current official guidance. If your document is damaged or its remaining validity is uncertain, resolve the issue with the relevant passport and entry authorities before departure.
